• The central plan of the Ideal World Foundation in our early development as an organization is to conduct an exercise known as "creative visualization". It is a common and popular practice to use creative or positive visualization in ones life, particularly in conjunction with meditation, in order to attract those things we desire into our lives. The concept is essentially to create a mental image of your dream or desire and to visualize it as vividly as you can, and by doing so attract it into your life. This principle is called the Law of Attraction. Many prominent and successful people swear by this principle and there has been much written on the subject.
• What we plan to do at IWFI is to expand this practice from use by an individual to use by a large group of people, beginning with at least 100 participants and growing from there. The objective will be to create a shared or collective visualization of our world in what we imagine would be an ideal state. We plan to do this using an online forum located at our online community. We will conduct extensive debates in our online forum and ultimately have the group vote on specific precepts that have been put forward and discussed which we will call Credo. Initially credo will be put forward as a "proposed credo" or pc and then it will be discussed and voted on by the group. Anyone is welcome to put forward a pc and they will each be put to the group for debate in a fair and orderly fashion.
• In order for a pc to become official IWFI Credo it must be voted in by the group. The process we plan to employ regarding our online discussions and voting is laid out in detail in the Ideal World Foundation Charter, which is recommended reading for anyone interested in participating in this project.
• At this point in time the goal is simply to get together a team of at least one hundred committed people to take part in the group creative visualization project. There are plans afoot to approach a number of prominent individuals to invite them to take part, but the door is open to anyone and everyone who would like to be involved. The only requirement is that you be genuinely interested in being a positive and constructive participant and able to commit around a half hour at least a week to the project and to cast your vote in a timely fashion when voting is conducted. Initially we have agreed to set the minimum to one hundred in order to begin, but at present we have no maximum and can imagine an exciting and vibrant project developing involving thousands or even millions of participants.
• So if you are interested in taking part in our creative visualization project please email us and let us know and we will put your name on the list. It's as simple as that. Also please join our online community if you have not already done so. Finally, we'd like to ask you to spread the word to others who you believe may have an interest in this project.
